This is why yarn wrappers state the dye lot information, so you can match the colors for your project. The only good thing I can say about the book is the price. When I foudn the book on Amazon, the price was ZERO. This is a good reflection of the quality of the book. If you are contemplating spending real money, skip this book and visit your local library instead.

This e-book is absolutely worthless. The patterns are basically just copied and pasted from moogly or pinterest, and many are incomplete, with no yarn type, hook size, or gauge listed. Very disappointed, even for $0.99!

I had high hopes for "Crochet Books: 30 Crochet Patterns In 30 Days" by Anna Cross. Unfortunately, like so many knit/crochet pattern ebooks, this one is nothing more than 30 patterns Ms. Cross found free online, copy/pasted, reworded, then renamed. I located many of the patterns online and discovered a significant number of discrepancies - lines of instruction completely missing, instruction incorrectly rewritten, critical information omitted, pictures of finished project that don't go with the instructions, UK instructions not translated for US crochet, and more. I would NOT recommend this book for beginners because it contains too many errors and omitted information which a beginner wouldn't spot.The original pattern instructions have been converted from traditional crochet abbreviations to everything written out. I bet the tie dye in the book would be better if the pictures weren't in black and white. Some of the techniques are a little dated. I was hoping to find a book that gave more direction on how to tie garments of different size and variety to achieve certain types of styles. This book has some great historical information on tie dye. Good addition to my home library.

Discussion of the history of batik is very through, unfortunately, that is not what I was looking for. Also, photos are black and white, and not easy to follow.The section discussion how to batik is relatively small compared to the material in the book, and not easy to follow, as the photos are black and white and somewhat small. I recommend Creative Batik over this book, if you want to learn how to batik.

Amazing book for any clinician. There is a chapter on treatment planning using the DO A CLIENT MAP acronym. It also includes all information one could need regarding mental disorders and treatments that have been researched. It ends with suicide evaluation. I would highly recommend.

Excellent resource. I wish it had been required in my master's program. I'm currently using it to prepare for the licensure exam. I'm having many aha moments as I read. The content is delivered and explained as if one is participating in a great conversation. I plan to keep this book and the DSM-V within arms reach...always.

I used this to prep for the NCMHCE, and found it very helpful. As a clinician I used interventions I'm most skilled at, and so refreshing my memory from Grad school was rather overwhelming. I loved the way this broke down treatment, and it was helpful in building an understanding of why the interventions were effective - instead of just memorizing.

I purchased this book for my MSW graduate course and it was very beneficial. It thoroughly explains diagnoses and provides a case study to aid in properly identifying and implementing effective treatments. Overall, it was a good purchase and something I will keep and continue to use professionally as a LCSW.

Kevin B. Smith is professor and chair of the political science department at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and has been studying and teaching state politics and policy for more than twenty years. He has authored or co-authored nine books and dozens of scholarly articles, and is a former associate editor of State Politics & Policy Quarterly. Prior to becoming an academic he covered state and local politics as a newspaper reporter.Â

Bought the online version and it has been super convenient! There are definitely better online book forums, but I can't complain this one was way cheaper!

It helps my daughter a lot

Disappointed with the book condition.

Back pages of book were sliced with a razor and I have to make sure to send those pages back with the book when returning. 99% of the book is good, I just hope I don't need those last few pages in the index.

It works okay. It does NOT have the proper page numbers so if your professor posts page numbers you have to endlessly scroll until you find the paragraph heading that is assigned. The book is also glitchy. Moving forward and backward will result in pages missing and re-appearing.
