This is an absolutely ATROCIOUS ocr scan of the text, full of mis-spelled words, line breaks, mis-recognized characters...Completely useless. Should be removed from the site immediately.I want a refund!

i order 2 volume set but they send me vol-02 only. i have seen summary contents they provided all information and page number as well for both vol-01 and vol-02. Book start from vol-02, i m very disappointed for this order.

The specific book publication I ordered was the first in a two volume set (but other publications/editions of this book are sometimes sold in a three volume set). The product was accurately identified. Upon arrival the quality of the book matched the description of it. Also, when I inquired about the book, the customer service was quite friendly and competent. Squee is essentially a follow-up to the Johhny the Homicidal Maniac comics, but not in a traditional sequel-type way. Squee was a character that appeared in JTHM, but was not the main focus. This volume focuses directly on Squee, though, so it can't really be seen as a sequel to that book – it's more of a spin-off really. That being said, I thoroughly enjoyed “Squee.”“Squee” still has Jhonen Vasquez's usual dark humor, but it feels like a slightly lighter, more fun collection compared to JTHM, and I'd have to say I found “Squee” to be funnier than JTHM overall. Not to say I didn't enjoy JTHM, it's just that “Squee” is my favorite out of the two. I really love the humor of Squee, and, additionally, for fans of Invader Zim it's super fun to see strange little precursors to characters and alien designs that appear in Invader Zim. Aside from the main Squee-related stories, this collected work also includes the “Meanwhiles” and “Wobbly Headed Bob” side-stories, so if you get this and the Director's cut of Johnny the Homicidal Maniac, you'll have the whole collection of side stories.So, if you like JTHM, then you need to pick this up. If you haven't read JTHM yet, then you should start there since that's the origin of Squee as a character. The best option of all, though, is to get both!

This book is basically just a compilation of previously released Squee comics released by Jhonen Vasquez, so if you're looking for something different then this book isn't for you. Either way, for a person who loves comic collections all in one bundle this is a great buy. Even if you haven't read all of the Johnny The Homicidal Maniac's comics (which is where the character Squee originally derived from), it's fun to read and well worth the money. And of course, if you aren't aware of this already, this is most likely not a comic you want to give to your little brother or sister of whatever.(I bought mine used, and it still came in impeccable quality!)

I like Squee. I like Squee a lot. But, I have a problem with Squee. Squee is a precursor to Invader Zim, and even has some of the same characters in it (the moronic aliens, the evil elementary school teacher, etc.), and in Invader Zim these characters and jokes seem much more fleshed out and far more entertaining than in Squee's Big Giant Book of Unspeakable Horrors.I also have another problem with Squee. While Jhonen's previous work in JTHM was philosophical and thought-provoking (albeit, in a very messy way), Squee seems to have been created almost entirely for entertainment value. Also, in JTHM I had no problem laughing while Johnny brutally tortured and murdered people, because not only did Jhonen make it funny, but also much of the time the people (even if only in a small way) deserved it. In Squee, the audience is meant to laugh at a perfectly innocent little child going through "unspeakable horrors," which I simply have a more difficult time in doing. Don't get me wrong, Squee is funny, and disturbingly funny at that, but I think JTHM was much funnier while at the same time the audience has less guilt for actually laughing at the horrors he caused, as opposed to the horrors Squee goes through which are entirely out of his control.If this book only had the Squee comics, I would probably have given it a 3/5. It was funny, but not as funny JTHM or Invader Zim, and many of the jokes reappear in ZIM are actually funnier. (The moronic aliens were especially funny in Invader ZIM. They desperately tried to convince everyone their technology was supieror by "fusing" things together with duct tape).BUT, there is a saving grace for this book, which bumps it up a star. Squee's Wonderful Big Giant Book of Unspeakable Horrors contains random mini-comics (such as the Meanwhiles, Fillerbunny, Adventures of Wobbly Headed Bob, and so forth), many of which used to be in JTHM but were cut out of the "Director's Cut." These random comics are ridiculously funny, and I found far more entertainment in them than in the issues of Squee. Wobbly Headed Bob, in particular, makes me laugh hysterically in every strip. His comically oversized cranium amuses me, as does his pain because it is always caused by his own provocation, and despite his "superior" intelligence he always fails to realize this. The Meanwhiles, Fillers, and Happy Noodle Boy strips are also very entertaining, and these mini-strips will provide me with far more lasting value than Squee will (especially Wobbly Headed Bob).I still think Squee would be worth buying without all those extra mini-comics, but it is exactly those mini-comics which sets this collection over the edge and gives it its true value. I definitely recommend this book, but much more-so for the mini-comics than for the Squee issues.

If you're deciding to get this book, don't wait. GET IT. THis book is will blow you away--amazing storyline, developed and dimensional characters, superb detailed art---you don't need to worry, it's all here and 100x more worthy than you'd ever expect. Squee is a cute little boy who has the unfortunate luck to always bump into homicidal slayings, aliens, blood, gore, animal mutilation, etc--all of which traumatize him to such a degree where his eyes are permanently frozen wide. Altho this sounds gory, you will just FALL IN LOVE with squee b/c of his innocence and pure adorableness. You will LAUGH, sympathizing with Squee b/c you too, were once a child, and you too, were scared of monsters and murderers hiding under your bed... sleeping against the wall to maintain a "forcefield"... only with Squee--it's REAL! now can you just imagine what crazy adventures come next? Also included in this book are a series of strips called "wobbly headed bob" which is just genius! Intellectually brilliant and insightful it will just amaze you to no end. The author, Jhonen Vasquez, is a brooding genius with skyrocketing IQ and untamed imagination that is boundless. Ever meet anyone like that? No? well then, read SQUEE, what are you waiting for?

The book came mildly damaged, as it is a very thin, flimsy paper back and was not packaged quite as well as it needed.The story told of a familiar character from the JTHM series, continuing the dark twisted perception through another characters eyes, Squee, and the things he faces in an everyday life. The book includes cuts taking a brake from the story, interesting deep short comics within the book. Overall a great, interesting, disturbing piece of work, just what you'd expect from Jhonen Vasquez. I recommend this book to anyone who has read the JTHM series or any other one of Jhonen's work. :) I give it five stars, ignoring the fact it was mildly damaged, the book was exactly what i expected from this artist. Surprising!

This is my two year old’s favorite book to read before bedtime! She even wants to wear a twist hairstyle and a bonnet to sleep like Emi which is awesome for promoting natural hair care and protective styling at an early age. Representation matters and I love how my daughter can relate and see herself and her hair in this book.

I was excited to read this book to my child but that won't happen because the pages are upside down. The words are also cut off from the end of the pages. There is also a big white blank area across the top of the page.

I like this book so much. I'm the girl with curly hair in my house, becuase I really like it. And when I read this book I was like "OMG I really feel you girl". Because it is really good for those little girl who need to know that a curly, coily, cotton candy hair it's pretty. Its just matter of taking care of the hair. And that its the lesson in this book. Melonie's reputation proceeds her, and this book is obviously the culmination of her years of experience, success and RESULTS she has attained for herself and her clients.You don't need any other blueprint than this book. Melonie Dodaro has done something exceptionally rare in publishing “LinkedIn Unlocked”. She’s written a fabulous and state-of-the-art book on how to leverage LinkedIn for Social Selling. I’m not aware of any comps that meet this standard of concurrently thorough, sophisticated, wise, and accessible. And really, the book itself is that oft-missing-in-action tangible example of marketing at its best, the elusive “right messages on the right subject delivered to the right folks at the right time." There’s very little question but that LinkedIn Unlocked succeeds on each of these points. Just as the platform reaches a key inflection period, with strong momentum, and with its benefit to B2B sellers simply undeniable, the book couldn’t be coming at a more key juncture.I’ve had the pleasure of sharing a tweet here and there with Ms. Dodaro but that had no impact on either the five-star ranking nor on the contents of this review (other than that that I can add that she truly seems like a really nice and cool person). As Ms. Dodaro would quickly remind me, and what I do know myself even if I’m about to ignore It, my reviewing the book has nothing to do with me, but going to briefly touch on my background.I write reviews infrequently, but when I do, they are only for books that I feel like I can easily assign five stars and that strike me personally as in the “exceptional” tier of the relevant subject matter. Sometimes I write on my own initiative, other times I write at the request of the author, but again, the five-star standard holds for requests. This is because my joy in books and reviewing them here and there is the sharing of awesome knowledge. I’m hardly a writer myself, no literary critic, and if I don’t care for a book, my life moves on, I have no interest in causing anyone any negativity.I share this because I should say – I’m not certain I’m qualified to truly review this effort in-depth, in that while I can keep up, Melonie’s expertise on the matters central to the book blows mine out of the water. However, as with many others, I’ll be working with and learning from, the book moving forward.Several years ago, when I had decided to transition to finance/investment banking from corporate law (I am indeed an exec at a communications agency now – long, non-interesting story), I joined LinkedIn and spent much time on an older version of the platform. I’m a rare millennial who has largely learned social for work (somehow, I’ve taken to Twitter, I have never had interest in an active Facebook presence) and back then LinkedIn was the only trace of my online presence (which has grown and developed a bit but not as much as it should have had I been paying attention). LinkedIn served me wonderfully and I promptly forgot about it. Then, helping to lead strategy at a full-service agency, I came to know the basics of LinkedIn for purposes of clients’ content.I’ve also become active on the network again and frankly, a large part of me thought I should wait to review the book until I had implemented many of its spot-on suggestions. I decided to move forward because I think it’s been a stimulus for me to reflect more and with greater meaning on my own LinkedIn page, which will get a complete overhaul in the pretty near future. The timing is good, While I am happily staying on as a full time senior exec at my agency, I’m in the very initial baby steps of growing my own clientele as an independent consultant. I have every expectation of selling socially on LinkedIn. But not until I’ve fully implemented Melonie's program- at which point I expect LinkedIn to be a profitable platform for me. I hope that it Is as well for anyone reading this.The writing going forward is from the POV of the blend that I am: a marketing professional experienced in representing B2B firms across an array of industries, verrrrrry new business owner (who’s not fully engaged in that process yet, but it’s coming) and as someone who several years back, was fortunate enough to have wonderful mentors who gave me LinkedIn introductions that helped me alter my career path. While this book is terrific for a variety of audiences, social selling businesspeople are the target, so I'll write primarily from that perspective.Here’s why this is such a special book IMHO:1. It’s entirely written from the core basic idea that life is about relationships, not connections. The author, based on her writing, has discovered that to be true in a very personal and wonderful way in her own life, and she knows of what speaks/writes. When the book speaks – and it does often – about relationship building it means, really, a relationship. Indeed, a relationship that in most cases needs to be effectively nurtured offline to do a deal. Maybe 90% of books on social media marketing say nothing about offline business. I’m grateful this book is not only different, but in many ways is geared to getting the social seller off line with his or her prospects under the right circumstances. The book’s focus here lends the rest of the text great credibility.2. The author uses the objective evidence to make the strong (in my view, incontrovertible) case that folks who perform social selling on LinkedIn, when done correctly, do more and better business. And it’s not close. There’s not hyperbole or gospel here and the author practices what she preaches. But to be clear, while for whatever reason too large a segment has chosen not so much deny as to be oblivious to it, LinkedIn has always been the vastly preferred social platform for business professionals looking to do business. It’s user base continues to grow, Microsoft believes it’s core to the that firm’s future and continues to invest mightily in it and LinkedIn keeps getting better for business people. Indeed, as this book went to press, LinkedIn announced that it will allow a trial run of professional businesses to put native video advertising on the platform. LinkedIn had unfortunately been viewed as having been late in permitting B2C native video ads, but the consensus was no doubt (perhaps to its own surprise) happy with the ultimate offering, especially with how well targeting can work. To be on LinkedIn as that capability comes to the business members is an interesting time to be on for sure.3. In the marketing and communications book space generally IMHO, a book that doesn’t at least annoy you – or even really make you mad – for stretch – isn’t worth much. Those are the rare books that dare to force you, the reader, to examine yourself in depth. This can be a pretty deep process. I am only just starting it, I have the benefit of having done it once before, and to be clear, I’m very grateful for the chance but I’m also annoyed on it, especially in thinking about the need to completely modernize and optimize my LinkedIn profile. I don’t particularly feel like nailing down everything correctly this second. And it’s that dangerous attitude I just expressed that makes me glad I feel annoyed, as it’ll motivate me. The assignments this book offers can be read briefly, but they pack a punch. It’s effort and thought and I plan to go through the book again from the start, doing all the exercises as they come. I’ll do that because I think they’re structured so perfectly to draw the right insights out of me re: who I am, what I do, who my ideal customer is, who my actual customers are, and how I can help them and provide them with a great experience and added value that they’ll ultimately be carried directly into my new LinkedIn profile as it develops.4. Really summarizing the end of the point directly above, the book takes the reader line by line through the LinkedIn profile with a spectacular overarching view and tons of great particular tips re: how to optimize it.5. I love books that take the time to address etiquette. Manners mean much to me in person and professionally. But in a rapidly changing social climate, it’s easy to make mistakes. So, the review of LinkedIn best practices and etiquette is very much desirable and should serve as a huge help and guide.6. Appropriately, two full chapters are devoted entirely to the use of your firm’s content on LinkedIn. Another instance where the book and author just get how it works, likely since the author really does it for a living. While there’s no claim that each new piece of content needs to win a Pulitzer Prize, the goal is ambitious but crucial – to become known as an authority in your field in addition to the typical (and effective) laundry list of inbound benefits that seek to help customers find you on their own volition after seeing some of your good content.7. Good discussion of keywords. Particularly relevant in that very often the LinkedIn profile is an important page for purposes of SEO ranking.8. As appropriate for a topic of its import, about half the book is dedicated to a highly specified series of funnel stages leading directly to a final process of coordinating details for an offline sale or conversion - for which LinkedIn’s assistance is most readily tapped: to find hot prospects. Here, the following stages and documents are critical: a) find prospects on LinkedIn, b) send LinkedIn connection, c) send welcome message via LinkedIn (assuming a connection is made) d) send relationship builder message on LinkedIn (one-two weeks post welcome message) and e) Send LinkedIn message to coordinate offline meeting.9. Not only is this an exceptionally well thought out funnel, customized beautifully to what LinkedIn does best, the author provides further help. Most significantly in this respect, she devotes two chapters to the concept of building a "Social Selling Playbook" generally and then actually customizing your own Playbook for moving forward.10. In laying out the Social Selling Playbook, Melonie reviews all key funnel elements as customized for LinkedIn, provides new tips and then, in walking through all the types of actions that will go in the Playbook, delivers a concise tour de force recap of an inbound funnel and offers specific guidance for when and how often each of a considerable – but not overwhelming – number of tasks need to be performed on LinkedIn. It is not required, but the author suggests that users of her system on a daily basis: a) find prospects on LinkedIn, b) send connection requests, c) leverage existing client relationships, d) send welcome messages to new connections, e) accept new connections, f) send relationship building messages, h) send messages to relationships to move offline, i) respond to replies/messages received, j) review who’s viewed your profile, k) post status updates, l) review notifications and m) review your activity page. Weekly activities might include nurturing prospects, focusing on hot leads, posting articles on LinkedIn Publisher, requesting warm intros and referrals and finally, during additional time, ask and give recommendations and/or skill endorsements.11. As noted, by the time of completion, you’ll have written your own Social Selling Playbook, the detail provided is intricate but intuitive. You’re forced to grapple with what quantities to assign to KPIs, e.g. how many prospects do you want to connect with each week? You then use the Playbook to document all activity which leads to accountability, The Playbook as kept current by you offers a treasure trove of data for you to analyze and make improvements based thereon. Indeed, you’ll be making your own detailed KPI tracker in which you’ll assign defined prospective values to KPIs (the author’s guidance on good starting metrics is excellent).12. The author then discusses ROI in a way that’s really quite practical but seldom used in the industry by having the reader examine what might occur to cause missed KPIs? It’s a brilliant inside out approach if you will.13. Finally, the book truly goes the extra mile in offering an extended and informed discussion of what type of LinkedIn membership is right for you and whether you need Sales Navigator.There’s much inherent flexibility built into the book but personally I’d caution being too flexible with what is an empirically-driven and validated process custom designed by one of our leading thinkers about how best to unlock LinkedIn. This book was done by two senior members of the AF stealth community, who were given full access to the program's early contractual paperwork, reports, etc. They have done an most admirable job digging the relevant facts out of the paperwork, and making useful comparisons to other programs. Having been a contractor engineering lead on this program for the 4 years the F-117 was truly created (1978-1982) I can testify that it accurately reflects the nature of the program and the important roles of various individuals to the extent that my knowledge permits. The book is intended, however, for professionals in the field, and won't exactly be a thrilling read for those who aren't interested in a lot of programmatic details.

Technically detailed and informative book on Have Blue and Senior Trend programs.

This book while seemingly very dry was actually interesting. I liked that there was a programatics/managerial look at the development of the airplane. There is also lots of development history and stuff.

WONDERFUL book and story about the design & development and testing of the "Have Blue" and the F-117A stealth aircraft. A "must have" in any modern aviation library!!

This book gave me what I feel is a balanced and professional insight into an issue of a new form of murder that is most probably being carried out in China today. It reminds me of the saying "Never again" that was heard after the Nazi Holocaust in the last century. Sadly to day the world is hearing "Once again!" because of live organ harvesting of prisoners and prisoners of conscience.

I had already read through the book before I purchased it. My friend recommended it to me and I read it within few days. I was deeply shocked and felt hard to believed the crime happening in China now in the modern society. I decided to buy one for myself for further reading and collection. I hope everyone can read this book! HIGHLY ROCOMMANDED!

Human life is the most precious. This book exposes the greatest tragedy of our time - complete disregard of human life value. Gangsters took over a nation and brutally persecute tens of thousands of innocent people in the most evil and inhumane way that ever existed in history - forced live organ harvesting. I will recommend and I hope that every person around the world read this book and try to understand the facts and the messages it carries.

I am hoping everyone will read this book. It is appalling what is happening in the "People's" Republic of China. The PRC admits to using executed prisoners for 90% of organ "donations". The rest of the world is left to believe that these executed prisoners are guilty of a recognizably capital offense, and have received a fair trial with adequate legal defense in a legitimate legal setting, and have given consent. This is not the case. Why so few are investigating this situation, like governments and media, is very interesting. And the complicity and cooperation among pharmaceutical companies, medical schools and scholarly journals is also very interesting.

Highly recommended as the authors of this book were risking their life to reveal crime against humanity by the Chinese Communist Regime that has never happened on this planet.

This book lines up 12 experts in their fields to give readers an understanding of the practice of organ harvesting from prisoners of conscience and the general prison population in China.China, due to Confucian belief has only very recently adopted a system of organ donation by consent. From the 1970's when the first transplant operations were performed in China, the only source of replacement organs was from executed prisoners.An exponential increase in transplant operations started in 2000, concurrent with the persecution of Falun Gong. It is estimated that between 40-60 thousand Falun Gong practitioners may have died to fulfill transplant requirements to Chinese and foreign recipients. Christians, Uighurs and other minorities may also have been killed as a result of the practice.This barbaric, state sponsored practice brings back memories of the Nazi Holocaust, but is possibly on a larger and more organised scale as China expands into a international market economy!An interesting and informative read for the general reader and an excellent introduction for those researching this topic!
